Tibetan Chime of Compassion
This handcrafted chime has been made by Tibetan refugees living in North India. It is inscribed with one of the most significant mantras in Buddhism, Om mani padme hum.
Buddhists believe that saying this mantra, or even viewing it in its written form, invokes the blessings of the Buddha of Compassion. This Tibetan Chime of Compassion is cast from a combination of metals, and is hand-tuned to produce a clear tone when struck.
